For those of you who don’t know…Frankie was in a car accident today and he passed away this morning. This is extremely sudden and there’s still a part of me that can’t believe that he’s gone but I feel blessed to have gotten to spend the past couple of months with him.

This post mainly goes out to my AACF family because I really wanted to say and express how much I truly appreciate all those who loved Frankie. He really loved going to meetings on Wednesday nights, spending time with everyone at small groups, and playing with all of those who came over to the apartment. Frankie truly was a spoiled little dog and he was so blessed to have so many people who loved him dearly. I really cannot thank my AACF family enough for making his life extremely special. Some of you helped me babysit him, some helped me take him out on walks, some would just play with him and give him treats, and everyone helped me to take care of him. Frankie really did have a wonderful life and I have all of you to thank for that<3

Although I am still sad and I wish I could come home everyday to my little puppy, I am just blown away by how lucky I am to be surrounded by such amazing people who truly loved Frankie as much as I did. It meant the world to me to see so many people treat him so well. God has definitely blessed me with such a loving family and for that I am very very grateful. 

Today God taught me that we live in an uncertain world. Everything can be changed in an instant. Death is inevitable and nothing lasts forever. However there is hope because God is constant, never changing, and GRACIOUS in that he grants us the right to be able to have eternal life. Because of this, I can have joy. Yes I am sad that I lost something that is so important to me, but I am also joyful that God has not only blessed my life, but he blessed his life as well and Frankie was able to live a wonderful life. So instead of feeling defeated and depressed about death, I choose to be joyful about life and how wonderful it can be with God.
